So yesterday I walked into a gas station, and attempted to buy a pack of smokes. The lady asked for my ID which i did not have.She wouldn't sell me the ciggarettes, but then offered me a lottery ticket. you also have to be 18 to buy those. Now tell me people how does that make any sense??
Something that really pisses me off!
I work in the food service industry. I also live in the rudest town in all of america. The people in Findlay, Ohio are some of the snobbiest, rudest people in the entire world. Waitressing is not a fun job, but it does pay very well. The number one comment I hear from customers are I'll send it back! honestly I don't understand why people are rude to servers? Why would you want to be rude to someone who is going to be alone with your food for a significant amount of time? along with other rage filled bitter food service employees? I myself have never tampered with someone's food, But I have seen many nasty customers swallow things they would not want to know about. are people aware that waitresses in Ohio only make 2.13 an hour? Some people just have no clue about tipping. There is nothing worse then waiting on a table of 20, running your ass off and then getting a dollar. Now I don't believe people should tip if their service was bad. but if it was good, why not? Some people just don't believe in tipping. Something that does piss me off. Everyone wants to be tipped. I go through a drive through for a ice cream cone and theres a tip jar there. now why should I tip someone when I drive up to a window and all they do is walk 2 feet and use a machine and return with it? servers spend an average of a half hour waiting on a table where many trips are made, refills are gotten and plates are cleared. We actually work for that tip and it really pisses me off that people who do an inch of what I do get tipped. When did the world decide that everyone needs to be tipped? Valets, dog walkers, bell boys, these people all make at least minimum wage if not more. So why in the hell do waitresses only make 2.13? It makes no sense!
